2026 Green Jobs Fair

Join us for the NJHEPS Green Jobs Fair — a statewide interdisciplinary career fair featuring job and internship opportunities related to sustainability, the environment, and climate action.  Hosted by the New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability (NJHEPS), this event is open to employers from all sectors and students and alumni from all academic disciplines and all colleges and universities across the state.

For Employers

Do you have job and internship positions related to sustainability and climate action?  

 If so, we invite you to host a booth at the NJHEPS Green Jobs Fair.  It is a unique opportunity to recruit students and alumni from schools across New Jersey who are highly skilled and passionate about this work.    

Additionally, employers are invited to join us before the fair for “Impacts of AI on Hiring: A Roundtable Discussion with the NJHEPS Eboard” from 10:30 – 11:30 AM in the Student Center. Discussion points will include: 

How are you using AI in your hiring process?

What changes have you seen since integrating AI into your hiring process?

What recommendations would you give to job seekers given AI-driven changes to recruitment and hiring?

Please note that this session takes place during the employer check-in and booth set up window. Interested employers should plan their arrival and setup time accordingly.

Join the job fair to network with employers offering green career and internship opportunities. This event is open to students and alumni from all academic disciplines and all schools across New Jersey. 

Walk-Ins are welcome; however, attendee registration is still strongly encouraged.

For Employers

Parking  All visitors who do not have a Rutgers University parking permit must register their car in advance. The parking registration link will be sent to registrants before the fair. Parking will be available in the Douglass Parking Deck behind the Student Center. The entrance to the deck is at 60 Lipman Drive. For Students and Alumni

Where can I find a list of employers attending the fair?  o New employers are registering every day and will appear on the NJHEPS Green Jobs Fair event page. Please check back often to see which new employers have registered.  What should I wear?  o Although we do not require professional attire for the fair, we do recommend, at a minimum, casual business wear.  Are students and alumni from all New Jersey schools allowed to attend?   o Yes! While the fair is physically located at Rutgers New Brunswick, it is open to students and alumni from all New Jersey schools.  I’m not studying environmental science or sustainability; can I still attend the fair?  o Yes! You can incorporate sustainability into any career.
